Section 7, Security Measures
Before: Encrypted, access-controlled backups held within the EU
After: Nightly backups, encrypted (AES-256) in a backup repository on a second server in Germany. A restored copy of the latest backup is kept on Ridoco's own computer in the Netherlands, and that copy is not encrypted at rest. Only the operator of the Service can reach either.

Section 9, Deletion and Return
Before: Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten on the normal backup rotation and in any event within 35 days.
After: Residual copies in backups are deleted on the normal backup rotation, within 35 days.

Privacy statement

Withdrawal statements: what is recorded when you withdraw from a contract on the withdrawal page, why, the legal basis (legal obligation), and how long it is kept: 7 years from the end of the year it was received, or 24 months if it matches no Laetium account. Newsletter: what is stored when you sign up, the legal basis (your consent), and how long it is kept. AI suggestions: the YouTube title and description helper sends the first 3,000 characters of a transcript you supply, or the file name, and the channel name, to the same language model as caption suggestions. Retention periods added for support tickets (identifying details erased 6 months after a ticket is closed, ticket deleted after 24 months), the audit log (IP address and browser details erased after 6 months, entry deleted after 24 months), unverified sign-ups (deleted after 30 days), social inbox messages (deleted after 12 months) and backups (up to 35 days). Section 7.3 now matches Section 5: a video is deleted when its post publishes, or 30 days after upload if it is attached to no post. Usage data: screen resolution and feature usage patterns are removed from the list. Laetium does not collect them. Email delivery through Google now names the newsletter too. Essence of Hell credits: Ridoco stores only the id of your linked Doombringerz account, not your balance. Laetium reads the balance from doombringerz.com when you open the billing page or pay, and doombringerz.com takes the EoH.

Section 1, Two different roles
Before: ... billing details, support tickets, and how you use the Service.
After: ... billing details, support tickets, withdrawal statements, and how you use the Service.

Section 2, Usage data
Before:
- Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
- Device information (operating system, screen resolution)
- Feature usage patterns (aggregate, not linked to individual posts)
After:
- Log data: IP address, browser type and operating system, pages visited, timestamps

Section 2, Newsletter (added)
- If you sign up for the newsletter: your email address, where on the site you signed up, the date, and the date you unsubscribe if you do
This is used only to send the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it with the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. How long it is kept is in Section 9.

Section 2, Withdrawal statements (added)
- If you withdraw from a contract on the withdrawal page: your name, the account email you give, the workspace name if you give one, the address for the acknowledgement, and the date and time the statement was received
- Whether the acknowledgement email was sent, and which account and workspace the statement matched, if any
This record is used to process your withdrawal and to keep proof of it. The legal basis is legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c): consumer law requires Ridoco to acknowledge a withdrawal, and the record is part of the business records Dutch tax law requires Ridoco to keep. How long it is kept is in Section 9.

Section 3, Legal obligation
Before: Compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and court orders.
After: Compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, court orders, and the duty to record and acknowledge a withdrawal from a contract.

Section 4 (added)
- Recording a withdrawal from a contract and sending its acknowledgement

Section 6, Google (Workspace SMTP)
Before: delivery of transactional email such as failed post alerts and billing receipts.
After: delivery of the email Laetium sends, such as failed post alerts, billing receipts and the newsletter.

Section 6, Essence of Hell credits
Before: ... returns your Doombringerz user id and credit balance, which Ridoco stores against your Laetium user so the balance can be spent and deducted.
After: ... returns your Doombringerz user id. Ridoco stores only that id against your Laetium user, not your balance. When you open the billing page or pay with EoH, Laetium asks doombringerz.com for your balance at that moment, and doombringerz.com takes the EoH for the payment. Doombringerz records when you allowed this and when you unlinked. Unlinking in Laetium, or deleting your Laetium account, removes the stored id.

Section 6, AI suggestions
Before: AI caption suggestions. The text you type (your topic, keywords and brand voice) is sent to a language model to produce them. It is not used to train the model and is not kept after the response is returned.
After: AI suggestions. Two features send text to a language model. Caption suggestions send the topic, keywords and brand voice you enter. YouTube title and description suggestions send the first 3,000 characters of a video transcript you supply, or the video's file name if there is no transcript, and the channel name if you give one. This text is not used to train the model and is not kept after the response is returned.
The rest of the paragraph is unchanged.

Section 7.3, schedule
Before: Video files you upload are deleted 30 days after upload.
After: A video file you upload is deleted when its post publishes. A video that is not attached to any post is deleted 30 days after upload (see Section 5).

Section 7.3, Deleting stored data
Before: ... erases everything held for you, with no recovery window.
After: ... erases everything held for you, with no recovery window, except the records the law requires Ridoco to keep (see Section 9).

Section 9, Data Retention (added)
- Withdrawal statements: Retained for 7 years from the end of the year they were received, the period Dutch tax law sets for business records, then deleted automatically. A statement that matches no Laetium account is deleted 24 months after it was received, unless it has been linked to an account by then. During that period a statement is kept even if you ask for erasure or delete your account, as proof that the withdrawal was made.
- Support tickets: Once a ticket is resolved or closed, the name, email address, IP address, browser details and referring page on it are erased after 6 months. Every ticket is deleted with all its messages 24 months after it was opened.
- Audit log: A record of sensitive actions in your account and workspace. The IP address and browser details on each entry are erased after 6 months, and the entry is deleted after 24 months.
- Unverified sign-ups: An account whose email address was never verified, that never signed in, and that has no workspace, API key or invitation is deleted 30 days after sign-up.
- Social inbox messages: Deleted 12 months after they were sent. Ridoco holds these as your processor, under the Data Processing Agreement.
- Newsletter: Kept while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, your address stays on file marked as unsubscribed. It is not added back without your confirmation. To have it deleted completely, email privacylaetium@doombringerz.com.
- Backups: Copies of the database are kept for up to 35 days. Data you delete leaves the backups within that time.
