Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Laetium ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including workspace administrators, team members, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

Laetium is a social media management platform for connecting social media accounts, scheduling and publishing content, and viewing analytics across multiple social media platforms. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

2.1 Beta

Laetium is in beta. It is a working product in daily use, and it is still being built. In practice that means three things. Publishing depends on social media platform APIs that Laetium does not control, and a platform outage, policy change or rate limit can delay or block a post. Laetium gives no uptime commitment while it is in beta. Features marked "in development" on the features page or "(soon)" on the pricing page are not live and are not part of what you are paying for until they are.

If something is broken, report it through the contact form or, when you are signed in, from Support in the dashboard. Beta status does not reduce your statutory rights, and nothing in this section limits what Laetium owes you under section 11 or section 12.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must report any unauthorised use of your account immediately at contactlaetium@doombringerz.com.
  • One person may not maintain more than one free account.

5. Subscription and Payment

Laetium charges one monthly fee per workspace, with no per-feature charges and no per-account surcharges. The one platform with its own published numbers is X, which bills Laetium per post and is therefore capped per plan and excluded from the Free plan. Those caps are on the pricing page and are enforced as published. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

  • Free plan: Limited features and scheduling quota as described on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans: Payment is due at the start of each billing period.
  • How you can pay: by card through Stripe, through PayPal, or by spending Essence of Hell credits from a linked Doombringerz account. Stripe and PayPal are independent payment service providers and their own terms apply to the payment itself. Essence of Hell credits are an internal balance held by Ridoco and carry no cash value.
  • Trial: a paid plan starts with a 14 day trial. Checkout takes your payment details up front, and the first charge is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
  • Tax: prices are quoted in US dollars without VAT. Ridoco is established in the Netherlands. Where VAT is due it is calculated at checkout from the billing country you give and shown before you confirm, and a business customer who supplies a valid EU VAT number is reverse charged at 0%.
  • All fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. This does not affect the statutory right of withdrawal available to consumers in the EU: as a consumer you may cancel within 14 days of subscribing, and Laetium will refund what you paid. If you asked for the Service to start inside those 14 days, Laetium may keep a proportionate amount for what you used before you cancelled.
  • Laetium reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice sent to the email address on your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
  • Post spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive content.
  • Distribute malware or engage in phishing activities.
  • Circumvent any platform's terms of service or API rate limits.
  • Harvest or scrape data in violation of a platform's terms.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.

Laetium reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without prior notice.

7. Third-Party Platform Compliance

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business, Bluesky). By connecting a social account, you agree that your use of that connection also complies with the relevant platform's own terms of service, developer policies, and community guidelines. Laetium is not responsible for enforcement actions taken by third-party platforms against your accounts.

7.1 YouTube

Laetium is a YouTube API Client and uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to, and read statistics from, the YouTube channel you connect. By using Laetium you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).

Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy). What Laetium itself accesses, stores and deletes is set out in Section 7 of the Privacy Policy.

You can revoke Laetium's access to your Google account at any time through Google's security settings (https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4&hl=en), and step-by-step instructions for every connected platform are on the revoking access page.

8. Content Ownership and Licence

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or schedule through the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant Laetium a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service. Laetium does not sell or share your content with third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g. delivering posts to connected platforms).

User Content uploaded for scheduling is temporarily stored and automatically deleted from Laetium servers after it has been successfully published to your chosen platform(s).

9. Data and Privacy

Collection and use of personal data is governed by the Laetium Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and all its components other than User Content are the exclusive property of Laetium and its licensors, including the software, design, trademarks and documentation. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Laetium trademarks, logos or branding without Laetium's prior written consent.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

If you are a consumer, meaning you use Laetium for purposes outside your trade, business or profession, this section does not apply to you. Your statutory rights are unaffected, including the right to a service that conforms to what was agreed and the remedies Dutch law gives you if it does not.

For business customers only: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LAETIUM DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent or gross negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Dutch law. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LAETIUM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AND SUBJECT TO THE PARAGRAPH ABOVE, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF LAETIUM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID LAETIUM IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR EUR 250.

13. Indemnification

This section applies to business customers only. It does not apply if you are a consumer.

If you are a business customer, you agree to indemnify and hold Laetium, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from Laetium's own breach, negligence or unlawful act.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate the account at any time. You may cancel your subscription from the Billing settings page. Laetium may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data is deleted in accordance with the Laetium Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

Laetium may update these Terms. You will be told by email or in-app notice before a change takes effect:

  • At least 30 days for a price increase or any material change to these Terms.
  • At least 14 days for other changes.

You may cancel without penalty. If a change affects you negatively, or if the price goes up, you can end your subscription free of charge before the change takes effect, and for 30 days afterwards. Cancel from Settings, Billing, or by email to the address in section 17. Nothing you have already paid for is lost: your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

A price increase never applies in the first three months of your subscription unless you choose to accept it.

Every notice lists each change it covers and states the single date they all take effect. Changes pending but not yet in force are listed at upcoming changes.

Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If you would rather not, cancel before that date as described above.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim against Laetium in the courts of the country you live in, and Laetium may only bring a claim against you in the courts of the country you live in. You also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country. You may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If you are a business customer, disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
