Revoking access and deleting your data

Three separate things, in the order most people want them.

1. Disconnect an account from Laetium

In Laetium, open Settings, then Accounts. Find the account and select Disconnect.

This deletes the stored access and refresh tokens for that account, and the statistics Laetium had stored for it. Laetium also asks the platform to revoke the token where the platform offers a way to do that.

2. Revoke access at the platform itself

Disconnecting in Laetium is enough to stop Laetium using the account. Revoking at the platform is the belt-and-braces version, and it is the route to use if you no longer have access to your Laetium account.

YouTube and Google

  1. Open the Google security settings link below, signed in as the account that owns the channel.
  2. Find Laetium in the list of apps with access to your Google Account.
  3. Select it, then choose "Delete all connections" to remove its access.

Revoking at Google takes effect immediately. Any upload Laetium has scheduled to that channel will fail rather than publish.

TikTok

  1. Open the TikTok app on your phone. This cannot be done on the website.
  2. Go to Profile, then the menu at the top right, then Settings and privacy.
  3. Open Security and permissions, then Manage app permissions.
  4. Select Laetium and choose Remove.

TikTok only exposes this in the mobile app. There is no equivalent page on tiktok.com.

Facebook and Instagram

  1. Open Facebook settings, then Business integrations.
  2. Find Laetium, select View and edit, then Remove.
  3. For an Instagram account connected through Facebook, removing it here covers both.

Threads

  1. Open the Threads app, then Settings.
  2. Go to Account, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
  3. Select Laetium and choose Remove.

X

  1. Open connected apps in your X settings.
  2. Find Laetium and choose Revoke app permissions.

  1. Open permitted services in your LinkedIn settings.
  2. Find Laetium and select Remove.

Pinterest

  1. Open apps in your Pinterest settings.
  2. Find Laetium and select Revoke access.

Bluesky

  1. Open bsky.app, then Settings, then Privacy and security.
  2. Open App passwords.
  3. Delete the app password you created for Laetium.

Bluesky uses app passwords rather than an approval screen, so deleting the password is the revocation.

3. Delete the data Laetium holds

In Laetium, open Settings, then Privacy, and choose Delete my account. This erases your account and everything held for it, immediately and with no recovery window. Export first if you want to keep anything.

What is stored, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy. YouTube statistics are deleted automatically once they are 30 days old.
